Privacy Policy

AgentBoiler ("we", "us") is an independent software product operated from Warsaw, Poland, and respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect on agentboiler.com (the "Website") and how we use it. The Website is a marketing site for the AgentBoiler software template - your operational app data lives on your own infrastructure and is never sent to us. Payments are handled by our Merchant of Record, Polar Software Inc. ("Polar"), under Polar's own privacy policy.

1. What we collect

  • Analytics - the Website currently runs no analytics or tracking. If we later enable analytics it will be a privacy-friendly, cookieless tool (such as Plausible) that records only aggregate page views with no cookies and no personal identifiers.
  • Email address - if you contact us via hello@agentboiler.com or subscribe to a newsletter, we store your email to respond and send relevant updates.
  • Purchase data - handled by Polar.sh (our Merchant of Record). We receive a license record (email + license key + product purchased), not your card details.
  • Server logs - standard web server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp) retained for 30 days for security and abuse prevention.

2. Why we collect it

  • To deliver your purchased license and download link.
  • To respond to your support inquiries.
  • To send product updates and security notices to active license holders.
  • To improve the Website via aggregate, anonymized analytics.
  • To prevent fraud and abuse.

3. What we don't collect

  • Tracking cookies or cross-site identifiers.
  • Your operational AgentBoiler app data (it stays on your infra).
  • Your customers' data.
  • Behavioral profiles for advertising.

4. Third parties

  • Polar.sh (Merchant of Record) - processes payments, remits tax, stores card details. See Polar's privacy policy.
  • Cloudflare (CDN + DNS) - basic request logs, no PII.
  • Plausible (optional, privacy-friendly analytics) - only if enabled in future; cookieless, aggregate page views, no personal data.
  • Email provider (Resend or equivalent) - used only for transactional emails (license delivery, support replies).

5. Your rights (GDPR)

If you're in the EU/UK, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to processing
  • Lodge a complaint with your data protection authority

6. Data retention

  • License records: lifetime of your license + 7 years (legal/tax retention)
  • Email inquiries: 2 years after last interaction
  • Server logs: 30 days
  • Analytics: aggregate only, no individual identifiers

7. Children

AgentBoiler is a developer tool. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

8. Changes to this policy

Material changes will be communicated to active license holders via email. Minor edits are reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
